In several rural regions, specially developing countries, IoT devices are little known in general and expensive if available. This is why the project consists into prototyping a low cost open device that allows to cluster data from the different fields, making it available for the peasants and farmers in order to optimize the way they use the resources; and also making the set of data available as open data in order to allow and incentivate academic and industrial research.
